Duel sign up guide: referral code and account linking
Signing up for Duel with the Reelagio referral code takes about a minute, and linking that Duel account to your Reelagio account takes another one. This guide walks through both with screenshots of every step: creating the account, entering the code, placing the one Limbo bet that proves the account is yours, and pasting the bet id into your dashboard.
You never give us a password, and there’s no API key. One cent-sized bet does the whole job.
Why link your Duel account at all
Linking is what tells us which Duel bets are yours. That matters for one reason above the rest: it’s how you’ll qualify for rewards.
Duel pays Reelagio for the players we send. The plan is to hand a share of that straight back to linked players — if your account isn’t linked, there’s no way to know your play is yours, and nothing to pay out against. It isn’t running yet, so there’s nothing to claim today, but linking now means your account is ready the moment it starts rather than you backfilling later.
Linking also lets us show your own numbers back to you across Reelagio instead of generic ones.
What’s in this guide
- Open the Duel sign-up page
- Create the account with the referral code
- Start the link on Reelagio
- Place one Limbo bet
- Copy the bet id
- Paste it back and finish
- If it doesn’t go through
1. Open the Duel sign-up page
Go to duel.com and hit Register in the top right.

2. Create the account with the referral code
Duel asks for a username and a password. Email is optional.

Tick Referral code (optional) and type the Reelagio code into the box that appears, then tick the terms box and hit Create Account.

This is the one step you can’t go back and fix. Duel only accepts a referral code during sign-up — there’s no way to add it to an account that already exists. The safest route is the Reelagio sign-up link, which carries the code for you and removes any question of typing it wrong.
Registering with Google or Steam works the same way: tick the referral box and enter the code before you click either button.
Our codes for other casinos are on the Reelagio codes page.
3. Start the link on Reelagio
Sign in to Reelagio, open your dashboard and find the Duel account section. Click Link my Duel account.
You’ll get a multiplier — something like 37.41. That number is yours and nobody else’s, and a Limbo bet aimed at exactly that target is what proves the Duel account belongs to you. Only the account holder can place bets on their own account, which is the whole trick.
4. Place one Limbo bet
On Duel, open Originals in the top navigation and choose Limbo.

Set the Multiplier field to the exact number from your dashboard, put the bet amount at a cent, and hit Place Bet. Winning or losing makes no difference — we read the target you aimed at, never the result.
5. Copy the bet id
Your bet appears in the strip along the top right of the game. Click it.

A panel opens with the bet id under the game name, starting with a # and usually ten digits long. Use the small copy button beside it rather than typing it out.

6. Paste it back and finish
Back on your dashboard, paste the id into the box and hit Link account. We read the bet straight from Duel while you wait, so give it up to half a minute. The box takes the id in any form — #1565242824, the bare number, or the full bet link.
When it goes through, the section shows your Duel username and you’re linked. That’s everything.
If it doesn’t go through
- “That bet’s target wasn’t…” — the multiplier has to match exactly, to two decimals. Place another bet with the right number and send that one.
- “That bet wasn’t a Limbo bet” — Dice and Crash won’t do. It has to be Limbo.
- “That bet was placed before you got your target” — an older bet can’t count, or anyone could claim anyone’s account. Place a fresh one.
- “That bet couldn’t be found” — copy the id from the bet panel instead of typing it; a single wrong digit is the usual cause.
- “That Duel account is already linked” — a Duel account links to one Reelagio account at a time. Unlink it from the other one first.
- It says we’re still checking — Duel didn’t answer us in time. Nothing is lost: we keep retrying and it links itself, normally within a day.
Questions
Do you get my Duel password? No. You never give us one, and there’s no API key either. The Limbo bet is the entire proof, and all it tells us is which account placed it.
Is linking required for rewards? Yes. Rewards will be paid against linked play, so an unlinked account can’t be credited. The programme isn’t live yet — linking now is what makes you eligible when it is.
Can I link a Duel account I already had? The link itself works on any Duel account, old or new. The referral code is the part that only applies at sign-up, so an older account won’t count as referred by us.
Can I unlink? Yes, from the same dashboard section, whenever you want. Linking again just issues a fresh target.
Does the bet cost anything? A cent — and you might win it back.
Why Limbo and not another game? Limbo lets you set an exact target multiplier, which gives us a number nobody would hit by chance. Most other games have nothing you can set precisely enough.
